Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 2: Downtime Officially Announced

Epic Games has officially announced that server downtime for Season 2 of Battle Royale Chapter 6 is scheduled to begin at 2AM ET on February 21, 2025.

Season 2 is set to introduce a 'Lawless' theme to Battle Royale, featuring new weapons, items and gameplay features, alongside some returning classics.

For the first time, Xbox and PlayStation 5 players can pre-download the new Season ahead of its release. Once downtime ends, those who install this version will be able to jump in-game instantly. This feature is not currently available to PC users, but this may change for future Season launches.
