Fortnite: How to Unlock the OG Season Shop in 2 Minutes

With the return of the Season Shop to Fortnite, Epic have reintroduced the classic XP-locked purchase system, requiring players to hit targets before they can buy the cosmetics. However, a glitch in this returning system has been discovered, allowing the 2 million XP target to be reached in just two minutes.

Here's how players can unlock the OG Season Shop quickly:

  • Enter Island Code [8650-4187-9338]

Update: This Island has now been disabled by Epic Games.

  • Interact with the Button repeatedly
  • Wait 2 minutes
  • Return to the Lobby

Interestingly, this glitch doesn't actually give players the 25 Levels 2 million XP usually would, but it tricks the system into thinking they hit the target. If done correctly, once players return to the Lobby, the XP progress bars in the OG Season Shop should be 100% complete. The cosmetics can then be purchased like they normally would.

Note that since this method of unlocking the Shop uses a glitch, Epic are likely to patch is soon. At the time of writing, the method still works, but this is likely to change.
