Fortnite x Sabrina Carpenter: Espresso Emote Removed from Item Shop

Fortnite has removed Sabrina Carpenter's latest Icon Series Emote and Bundle less than 24 hours after they arrived in the Shop.

The 'Caffeinated' Emote, featuring music from Sabrina Carpenter's hit song 'Espresso,' was unexpectedly removed from the Shop just 20 hours after its release. While Epic have not yet provided an official explanation, it's speculated that the removal may be due to negative player feedback regarding the song's sped-up tempo.

Fortnite's official Status account did confirm that the removal is temporary, though no return date was provided. A revised version of the Emote is expected to be introduced in the next patch update, restoring the original music to accompany the existing dance. However, it's currently unclear how this will be implemented or whether original buyers will receive refunds.
