How Much Is Fortnite's Pirate Shop Token Worth? Every Two Weeks Since 2017, Priced
A new itemshop.gg page puts a number on Treasure Hunters' rarest drop: about 668,000 V-Bucks if you activate it today.
The Pirate Shop Token is the prize everyone in Treasure Hunters is hunting. Pull one from a Treasure Hunt chest, activate it, and for the next 14 days everything in the Item Shop sold for V-Bucks is yours to claim for free.
So what is that actually worth? itemshop.gg has launched a Pirate Shop Token value page that answers it with the shop's own history: every day of the Fortnite Item Shop since October 2017.
Activated today: about 668,000 V-Bucks
As of today, a token activated right now would claim about 668,000 V-Bucks of cosmetics over its 14 days, roughly $7,500 at the price of the smallest V-Bucks pack.
Part of that is certain. 205,800 V-Bucks is already sitting in today's shop, 313 items you could claim the moment you activate. The rest is an estimate of what the next 13 days will bring, based on what the shop has added over the past eight weeks. Tested against every week from March to October 2026, that estimate came within about 8% of the real figure on average.
Activate now or wait?
Tokens found this year have to be activated by December 15, 2026. So is it better to use one straight away or hold it for Winterfest?
The page compares the same start dates across the last five years. In 3 of those 5 years, a token activated on December 15, the last day allowed, was worth more than one activated on any earlier date. The exceptions were 2023 and 2025, when late November came out on top.
It's a guide rather than a promise. One big collab can outweigh everything else, and Epic doesn't announce those in advance. But history leans toward waiting.
The best 14 days ever
The most valuable two weeks the shop has ever had ran from April 23 to May 6, 2026: 785,000 V-Bucks across nearly 1,100 items. The top five windows are all from 2026, which says as much about how big the shop has become as about any one season. The best fortnight of 2017 came to just 40,000 V-Bucks.
You can open any of the top 10 to see every item it would have claimed. You can also pick any date since 2017 and see exactly what a token activated that day would have been worth.
How the value is counted
- Every item sold for V-Bucks counts once, at the price it was listed at.
- Jam Tracks are included, since the token covers them, and they're a big part of every figure. Today's shop alone has 119 of them.
- Only one Sidekick counts, since the token claims a single one.
- Bundles aren't counted. Most repackage items sold on their own the same days, so counting them would count those items twice. The figures are a floor, not a ceiling.
Getting a token
Pirate Shop Tokens drop at random from Treasure Hunt chests during the Treasure Hunters mini-season, which runs until December 5, 2026. Epic hasn't published the odds. Anything sold as a way to find one, such as "compasses" or account services, is a scam.
