Infinity Blade Vaulted by Epic Games
Epic Games have vaulted the Infinity Blade, a controversial item in Fortnite. The weapon was considered extremely overpowered, giving players in-game a total of 400HP, regenerative shield, and excessive damage.

We messed up and rolled out the Infinity Blade overpowered / without good counters, especially in the end game.
The Infinity Blade has been Vaulted and we are re-evaluating our approach to Mythic items.

Most people are extremely happy about this, and with the phrase "we are re-evaluating our approach to Mythic items" it implies they will be adding more items like the Infinity Blade in the future.
Hopefully they can limit the weapon to something such as an LTM or at least heavily nerf it. The item was scheduled to have a small nerf in the next patch before it was abruptly vaulted by Epic Games. We do not yet know if it will make a return in the future.
