According to reliable data miner Hypex, Fortnite OG will return in a new permanent mode following the launch of Battle Royale's sixth Chapter in December. This information has already garnered significant attention from the community on X and comes from an "anonymous source", with Hypex stating he can "verify most" of what was shared.
The anonymous inside source claims the return of OG will be more faithful to classic Fortnite than 2023's November mini-Season, with all ten Seasons from Chapter 1 reportedly being covered via a monthly rotation. Last year's Fortnite OG only included a handful of Seasons, leaving many disappointed with skipped and forgotten parts of the game. In addition to the full Seasonal coverage, the new and updated mode will also feature "only OG loot" and will have support for both Zero Build and standard Battle Royale.
Hypex suggests Epic will officially announce this information soon, likely at The Game Awards, scheduled for December 12, 2024. As always, we'll keep you updated.
