In a stream following the announcement, he opened up about his decision, citing a loss of passion for the game and a desire to focus on content that truly excites him.

MrSavage, a successful figure in the Fortnite community, has been a dominant force in competitions for seven years, and even competed in Fortnite's first official 'Solo Showdown' tournament in 2018. However, he admitted that the competitive grind no longer brings him the same level of enjoyment as it once did, stating he hasn't "been having as much fun". Instead, he plans to shift his focus towards streaming and creating engaging content.

Despite stepping away from competitive play, MrSavage reassured his followers that this is not the end of his Fortnite journey, adding, "I just want to stream, I just want to have fun streaming". This marks a major shift in his career, but with a strong presence in the community, it's clear that MrSavage will continue to thrive under his new focus.
