Rumor: El Rubius to Join the Fortnite Icon Series

Norwegian-Spanish content creator El Rubius is rumoured to be the next star of Fortnite's Icon Series.

With over 40 million subscribers on YouTube, Rubius has grown to become one of the biggest channels on the platform since sharing his first video in 2012.

He teased what is rumoured to be his Icon Series debut with a video shared to X, which featured the iconic Fortnite Llama. Several existing Fortnite Icons including Ali-A, Lachlan, and Grefg, also replied to the post, hinting at the teaser's Icon meaning.

The rumour comes just two months after fellow content creator Nick Eh 30 announced his own Icon Series set. So far, no official announcements regarding this potential Icon reveal have been made, and it should be noted that Fortnite's official social accounts have not shared any of their own teasers at the time of writing.

It's possible Rubius could share more information following Fortnite's v30.40 patch tomorrow. As always, we'll keep you updated.
