The NBA is coming to Fortnite

Epic Games have officially announced an upcoming collaboration with the NBA, bringing new cosmetics, events, LTMs and more to Fortnite.

The NBA Team Battles will take place May 19 - 23 and allows players to earn in-games rewards and V-Bucks by supporting their favourite NBA team. All 30 NBA teams are available on the Team Battles page to be supported, with players being required to complete tasks to gain points. The NBA Championship Trophy Back Bling will be rewarded to players who support the team that wins, however, it will also be returning at a later date, as stated in Fortnite's dedicated Team Battles blog.

The NBA collaboration will also see two new Locker Bundles arrive in the Item Shop. Cosmetics personally selected by NBA stars Donovan Mitchell and Trae Young will be available for players to purchase in next week's Item Shops.

Arriving on May 25, the NBA crossover event will arrive in Creative. A new NBA-themed Creative Hub will be added to the mode, with more details coming next week.
