Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak Join The Icon Series

In a surprise announcement, Fortnite has revealed that Grammy-nominated R&B duo Silk Sonic will be joining the Icon Series with a new set available in the Item Shop next week.

The Silk Sonic Set

The new Silk Sonic Set contains the following cosmetics:

  • Bruno mars Outfit
  • Anderson .Paak Outfit
  • Sound Scepter Pickaxe
  • Sound Scepter Back Bling
  • Freedom Wheels Emote
  • Sonic Snare Back Bling
  • Boom Bap Pickaxe
  • Somebody This Fly Music Pack

Both the Bruno mars and Anderson .Paak Outfits also include multiple edit styles in addition to the default variant, including a reactive version of each style.

The new 'Somebody This Fly' Music Pack will also be available in the Item Shop along with the returning 'Leave The Door Open' Emote.

Players will also be able to compete in the new Silk Sonic Cup for a chance to unlock the cosmetics for free! Everyone who earns at least 8 points will be rewarded with the Silk Sonic Spray.

Introducing Icon Radio

In celebration of the Silk Sonic announcement, Fortnite has also introduced a new radio station to the game. The Icon Radio can be selected in any radio-supported vehicle and, for its launch, will allow players to listen to music from Silk Sonic, Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak.
