Buried Treasure item coming soon to Fortnite

Fortnite's in-game message of the day feed has updated to feature a new item coming soon to the game: Buried Treasure!

Based on the description, it looks like players will be able to interact with the map to find and recover loot hidden around the island. No release date has yet been given but we should expect it to drop early next week, either on Tuesday or Wednesday.

It's possible 'treasure' will be in the form of the new chest seen at The Block, guaranteeing a legendary weapon each time, but this isn't confirmed or official.
