It looks like Chapter 4 Season 2 will be ending without a live event, as suggested by a lack of event files added with yesterday's v24.40 update.
Unlike the final updates of previous seasons that included events, v24.40 did not add any large encrypted events to the files. Unfortunately for those who follow the game's storyline, this confirms there will be no live event before Chapter 4 Season 3, which is set to be released on June 10th.
Although a live event to end Season 2 is not happening, it is possible we could see a solo introduction event for Season 3, similar to the 'Zero Crisis' event of Chapter 2 Season 6.
Epic Games has not officially revealed anything about Chapter 4 Season 3, but is expected to do so very soon. We'll keep you updated.
