This lawsuit demonstrates Epic's zero-tolerance stance on cheating, with the company emphasising, "Cheating has no place in Fortnite and weβre doing everything we can to stop it, including legal action". The announcement comes shortly after Epic outlined new measures aimed at improving the competitive experience, including enhanced systems to combat cheating.
This isn't the first time Epic have sued a cheater, and it certainly won't be the last. Back in 2022, the company won a lawsuit against a hacker for selling cheats, then donated the damages to charity.
