Fortnite Announces Lantern Fest 2023
Fortnite has announced this year's in-game Lantern Fest event, which will run from now until April 21st.
This year brings a special 'Lantern Fest Tour' Island made by Illusion Creative, complete with palm trees, camels, lanterns, a desert, and skyscrapers. Complete this Island’s challenges to unlock the following in-game rewards:
- Lantern Spray
- Cameo Needs Loot Emoticon
- Dog Eat Dog Spray
- Twilight Mosaic Wrap
The Lantern Fest Tour experience is so big that it was built across multiple Creative Islands. Part 2 will become attached on April 6, 2023 at 10 AM ET.
Lantography
In celebration of Lantern Fest 2023, certain POIs on the Battle Royale Island have been decorated with lanterns. Players can share pictures featuring one of these lanterns on Twitter using the #LantographyContest2023 hashtag. The top 15 submissions will receive the Fortnite 'Cameo Needs Loot' Emoticon.
Faisal YJY's Locker Bundle
Fortnite has also revealed that a new Locker Bundle for content creator Faisal YJY will be available in the Item Shop from April 6, 2023,
The Bundle includes the following cosmetics:
- Maven Outfit
- T-Square Pickaxe
- Pop Dropper Glider
- Bobbin Emote
SypherPK Returns
As part of Lantern Fest 2023, Icon SypherPK has returned to the Fortnite Item Shop for a limited time.
