Fortnite to celebrate Pride Month in September

The Fortnite Team has revealed their plan to celebrate Pride three months later than everyone else - in September 2022. As part of this announcement, Fortnite also brought the free items from last year's Rainbow Royale back to the Item Shop for a limited time.

It's currently unclear why Rainbow Royale will return in September and not June, although it's most likely to avoid overlapping the No Sweat Summer event, which was announced just yesterday. Interestingly, Rainbow Royale 2022 is set to take place in same month Chapter 3 Season 4 launches, meaning we'll most likely see the celebration in Season 3's closing week.

Specific details on this year's Fortnite Pride event are yet to be shared, but we'll keep you updated.
