Fortnite was Europe's Most Played Game on Nintendo Switch in 2021

Nintendo has revealed a list of the most played games on the Switch in Europe during 2021, featuring Fortnite in the top spot.
Despite Fortnite celebrating its fourth birthday last year, the game is still leading on Nintendo Switch. Fortnite remains the most played game on the platform, even above Nintendo's own Pokémon and Mario titles.
The full list of most played games is as follows:

- Animal Crossing: New Horizons
- Minecraft
- Pokémon Sword
- Pokémon Shield
- Zelda: Breath of the Wild
- Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
- Rocket League
- Super Smash Bros. Ultimate
- Super Mario Odyssey
- FIFA 21 Legacy Edition
- Pokémon Unite
- Monster Hunter Rise
- New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe
- Super Mario Party
- Pokémon: Let's Go, Pikachu
- Pokémon: Let's Go, Eevee
- Splatoon 2
- FIFA 20 Legacy Edition
- Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury
- Super Mario Maker 2
- Luigi's Mansion 3
Fortnite was also featured as the most played game on Nintendo Switch in Europe during 2020, above numerous Pokémon and Mario games.
