Indonesia unblocks access to Fortnite and Epic Games

The Indonesian government has unblocked access to Fortnite and Epic Games after the company complied with new laws that require registration to the Ministry of Communication and Information.

Fortnite and Epic Games were originally blocked in Indonesia on July 29 after failing to comply with new laws before the deadline. The new rules allow authorities to order the take down of content deemed unlawful, or that "disturbs public order". Epic Games registered with KOMINFO on August 9, which is the same day staff returned from a company-wide two-week summer break.
