Leaks from data-miner @FortTory show that an upcoming Proximity Grenade Launcher will be making its way into Battle Royale in a forthcoming update to the game.
With a roadmap of three content updates apparently coming to the game, it's likely we'll see this weapon coming in one of them. It also has completed statistics for the gun in the Battle Royale mode, so maybe we'll see it coming this week.
