In celebration of Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak joining the Icon Series, Fortnite has announced the new Silk Sonic Cup that will give players the chance to earn the new cosmetics for free.
The Cup is a Duos competition and the top performing players in each region will earn the new cosmetics as follows:
- Placing 1st - 1,250th in Europe will reward players with the Bruno Mars Outfit, Anderson .Paak Outfit, Sound Scepter Pickaxe/Back Bling and Sonic Snare Back Bling
- Placing 1st - 625th in NA East will reward players with the Bruno Mars Outfit, Anderson .Paak Outfit, Sound Scepter Pickaxe/Back Bling and Sonic Snare Back Bling
- Placing 1st - 250th in NA West will reward players with the Bruno Mars Outfit, Anderson .Paak Outfit, Sound Scepter Pickaxe/Back Bling and Sonic Snare Back Bling
- Placing 1st - 500th in Brazil will reward players with the Bruno Mars Outfit, Anderson .Paak Outfit, Sound Scepter Pickaxe/Back Bling and Sonic Snare Back Bling
- Placing 1st - 125th in Asia will reward players with the Bruno Mars Outfit, Anderson .Paak Outfit, Sound Scepter Pickaxe/Back Bling and Sonic Snare Back Bling
- Placing 1st - 125th in Oceania will reward players with the Bruno Mars Outfit, Anderson .Paak Outfit, Sound Scepter Pickaxe/Back Bling and Sonic Snare Back Bling
- Placing 1st - 125th in Middle East will reward players with the Bruno Mars Outfit, Anderson .Paak Outfit, Sound Scepter Pickaxe/Back Bling and Sonic Snare Back Bling
All players who earn at least 8 points in the Cup will be rewarded with the new Silk Sonic Spray.
Players will be able to compete in a total of ten matches across a three-hour time window on February 7. The scoring system is similar to that of recent cups, with a Victory Royale worth 25 points.
Anyone can participate by simply checking under the Compete Tab in-game for their region's three-hour window.
