Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2: Launch Date Confirmed

In an unexpected tweet from Fortnite UI Programmer Joseph Strubhart, the launch date for Season 2 of Chapter 3 has been confirmed to be March 20th, 2022.

In the tweet, which has since been deleted, the programmer stated that there was 48 hours until he could change his Twitter header from the Season 1 Battle Pass. Although this may appear unimportant at first, the launch date of Season 2 was actually referred to as this is when he would be allowed to use images of the next Battle Pass as a header.

With only one day remaining until Season 2, Epic Games has failed to release any official teasers or promotional advertisements on social media ahead of Sunday's launch. This unusual approach to Season 2's release has left the community feeling largely unexcited and disappointed.

It's possible we could see an official teaser posted along with the update announcement itself, although if nothing is revealed it will not change the launch date of March 20th. We'll keep you updated.
