Fortnite: Chapter 5 Season 4 Live Event Announced

Epic Games has officially announced the first of two upcoming live events for Chapter 5 Season 4 of Fortnite.

Located in-game at an unnamed spot near 'Reckless Railways', a new event countdown timer was added to the Island following Tuesday's v31.30 update. As has been the case with most events during Chapter 5, the next is set to happen at 2pm (ET) on Saturday, October 5, 2024, and will reportedly include a cinematic sequence that features Marvel's Doctor Doom in some way. Rumours suggest Fortnitemares 2024 could be introduced by the upcoming event, with multiple Halloween-themed locations being added to the Island at the same time.

Adding to the in-game countdown, Epic also officially teased the event across their socials - something they did not do for Chapter 5's previous 'mini' live events. We'll keep you updated.
