Fortnite has released the latest hotfix for v23.10, unvaulting the Heavy Shotgun and removing all Winterfest items.
Heavy Shotgun Returns
The Heavy Shotgun has made an unexpected return to Fortnite for a limited time. Available in Battle Royale and Zero Build, the weapon remains unchanged compared to its last appearance in the loot pool.
Rocket Launcher Unvaulted
Joining the Heavy Shotgun, the Rocket Launcher has also been unvaulted in today's v23.10 hotfix. The weapon was temporarily removed from the loot pool to make way for the Snowball Launcher.
Winterfest Ends
This year's Winterfest celebrations have ended a week earlier than originally announced. The Snowball Launcher, Holiday Presents and Sgt. Winter NPC have been vaulted.
Despite the in-game elements of Winterfest being removed, the Cabin remains available in the Lobby and presents can still be opened until January 3, 2023.
