Fortnite data-miner Hypex has shared information that suggests the Shadow Bomb item could be returning to Battle Royale soon.
According to the leaker, the item's in-game description was updated last week to be "Toss to escape in a cloud of smoke that grants a speed and jump boost." It's currently unknown if any changes have been made to how the item works, although it won't be long before players find out - Shadow Bombs are expected to be unvaulted fairly soon.
It's possible we could see the item return in next week's v20.40 patch. We'll keep you updated.
