Epic Games has officially announced the 'NINJAGO: Rise of the Ninja' update for LEGO Fortnite Odyssey, set to launch on December 11.
NINJAGO brings major updates to LEGO Fortnite Odyssey, introducing brand new areas to explore. Players will start their journey on NINJAGO Island, where they must defend against invading monsters and master the art of Spinjitzu.
The update will also add various new gameplay elements and weapons:
- Ice, Lightning and Earth Elemental Abilities
- Spinjitzu Scrolls
- Nunchucks
- Shurikens
In addition to these new elements, players will establish a "home base" at the Monastery before travelling to various Sanctums in preparation for a final showdown. A second NINJAGO-themed update has also been confirmed to continue the story into 2026.
The new NINJAGO LEGO Pass has also been revealed, confirming the arrival of the Kai Outfit, which auto-unlocks upon purchase. The Pass includes three unlockable Builds and various Decor Bundles. Elemental Masters Zane, Jay and Cole will be available from the Item Shop, featuring Fortnite-scale versions of the characters for the first time.
Since players will begin on NINJAGO Island following the update, Epic recommend securing vehicles and items in existing Villages before logging off.
