New Social Tags feature now live for all players

After less than 14 hours of live testing, Epic Games has rolled out the new Social Tags feature to all Fortnite players on every platform.

The new Social Tags feature allows players to select up to three tags that express their favourite game modes, "gameplay vibes" or preferred competitive events. New Fortnite experiences will be recommended to players based on their chosen social tags. Tags can easily be changed straight from the side menu when either in-game or in the Lobby.

Along with Social Tags comes Fortnite's highly requested Looking For Party feature. This new section in the side menu is located below the Voice Chat settings and can be accessed at any time in-game. Three random players with the same chosen tags, region and language will be recommended when using the Looking For Party menu. These players can then be invited to play or shuffled for a new list of active players. When playing classic Battle Royale playlists such as Duos or Squads, using Looking For Party is optional and the normal invite system for partying up will remain.
