Patrick Mahomes to join the Fortnite Icon Series

American football quarterback Patrick Mahomes will be the next person to join Fortnite's Icon Series.

Mahomes recently shared a teaser image, which featured a real-life version of his upcoming Dual Pickaxes, to Instagram. The rest of the set is expected to follow a similar design, using red and white from the Kansas City Chiefs uniform.

Thanks to leaks, we know that the new Icon Series Set will contain the following cosmetics:

  • Patrick Mahomes Outfit
  • Gridiron Gladiator Back Bling
  • Snap Axes Pickaxe
  • Emote

An official release date for the set is yet to be announced, although it's thought that it will be released around September 8, 2022, which is when the new NFL season starts. As always, we'll keep you updated as soon as an announcement is made.
