Riot Games Co-Founder to 'Look Into' Bringing Arcane Cosmetics Back to Fortnite
Riot Games Co-Founder Marc Merrill says he will "look into" bringing the popular Arcane cosmetics back to Fortnite's Item Shop.
The comment was made during a recent Twitch stream, where Merrill, who goes by 'Tryndamere' on the platform, was asked by a viewer if the Arcane cosmetics will ever come back to Fortnite. His initial response left fans disappointed, as it confirmed Riot were behind the lack of a return from the set, stating, "It's on us. We only did it for the original launch of Arcane".
Shortly after this, the broadcast's live chat became flooded with questions regarding the 2021 Fortnite collaboration, prompting Merrill to say, "I will talk to the team about Arcane skins in Fortnite. Not sure what we can do, if anything, but I will look into it".
The 'Arcane League of Legends' set recently joined the club of cosmetics that haven't returned to the Shop for over 1,000 days. The set features the following items:
- Arcane Jinx Outfit
- Arcane Vi outfit
- Jinx's Dream Monkey Back Bling
- Memories of Zaun Back Bling
- Pow Pow Crusher Pickaxe
- Piltover Warden Hammer Pickaxe
- Playground (Instrumental) Music Pack
- Punching Practice Emote
- Katchoo! Loading Screen
- Wreaking Havoc Loading Screen
- Piltover's Finest Loading Screen
- Jinxed Spray
The Arcane collaboration wouldn't be the first to come back after multiple years; Master Chief, Spider-Man, and even Fortnite's own Renegade Raider have all returned in recent days.
As always, we'll keep you updated.
