Splitgate 2 Rivals Fortnite as the Most Downloaded Free PlayStation Game in June 2025

PlayStation has revealed lists of the most downloaded games for June 2025. According to the data, Fortnite was the most downloaded free-to-play game in the EU, but was beaten by Splitgate 2 in the United States and Canada.

For the first time since March, Fortnite was not the most downloaded free-to-play game in the US and Canada. Instead, it ranked second to Splitgate 2, which launched on June 6, 2025. Despite this, Fortnite remained in the top spot for the EU's downloads, and is expected to reclaim it in the US and Canada this July.
