Fortnite Patch v25.11: What to Expect

Downtime for the second major update of Season 3 has been announced for June 27, 2023. Here's an early look at the Patch Notes for v25.11.

Summer Escape

The new 'Summer Escape' event will go live with tomorrow's update, according to Fortnite. The event will feature new Item Shop cosmetics, new Quests with free rewards, loot pool changes and new summer-themed Creative Islands.

New: Explosive Repeater

The new 'Explosive Repeater' Rifle is expected to be introduced with the summer update. Leaks claim the weapon will be available in Rare, Epic, Legendary and Mythic rarities, and will be easy to find in-game.

Summer Items Unvaulted

Summer-themed items and consumables will also be unvaulted with tomorrow's patch.

New Reality Augments

New Reality Augments are expected to be introduced with v25.11, but this is unconfirmed. We could see the addition of limited-time summer Augments!

Bug Fixes

The following bugs are confirmed to be fixed in tomorrow's patch, according to the official Fortnite Trello page.

Crowns are unable to be dropped.
Cloak Gauntlets unintentionally appear as Mythic rarity.
