Fortnite has released the latest Hotfix for v19.20, introducing a new weapon to Battle Royale.
The Machine Pistol
The new Machine Pistol weapon can now be found in-game through Chests, Supply Drops, Loot Sharks, fishing and ground loot.
"Like to fight your battles up close and personal? The Machine Pistol deals intense damage when your opponent’s near at hand. It’s effective at longer ranges too, as long as you’re firing at shorter bursts to maintain accuracy. This Pistol has an extended magazine size for slightly more sustained fire."
The weapon's stats for all rarities are as follows:
(common to legendary)
- Damage to player: 15/16/17/18/19
- Magazine size: 35/35/35/35/35
- Fire rate: 13.5/13.5/13.5/13.5/13.5
- Reload time (seconds): 2.475/2.36/2.25/2.14/2.0
Competitive Notes
- The Machine Pistol is not included in competitive playlists but is subject to an evaluation period.
