It looks like Fortnite is planning to celebrate Goku Day in-game next week, according to new leaks from data miners.
According to leaker ShiinaBR, Epic is working on a male cel-shaded Outfit codenamed 'DualParadox', along with two Styles, a Dual-Wield Pickaxe, Emote and Wrap. The new cosmetics appear to be encrypted in the latest Fortnite files, meaning they could be released at any time without an official announcement.
Data miner FNAssist added to the leak, saying it's "very likely" that the new set is based on 'Goku Black/Zamasu' to celebrate Goku Day on May 9th. In Dragon Ball, the Goku Black character can transform into 'Super Saiyan Rosé'. Interestingly, the leaks claim one of the Outfit's Styles will have a "pink head".
Certified and registered by the Japanese Anniversary Association, Goku Day is an official celebration that honours the Dragon Ball character. With the success of the existing Dragon Ball cosmetics in Fortnite, it makes sense for the Epic to bring more characters to the game. Fortnite's last crossover with the series introduced Piccolo and Son Gohan as Outfits in-game.
