Rue Outfit Blacklisted from Returning to the Fortnite Item Shop

Epic Games has reportedly blacklisted the Rue Outfit from returning to the Fortnite Item Shop.

According to Fortnite leaker Hypex, the decision to blacklist the cosmetic from the shop was made after Epic noticed a post on social media which claimed the Outfit "looks like a Nazi". Backing up this information, Twitch streamer elded recently revealed that Epic Games contacted him about releasing his own Locker Bundle and sent him a list of cosmetics to choose from. The list included almost every original Fortnite Outfit, apart from Rue.

As we've learnt in the past with the Fresh and It's Complicated Emotes, Fortnite will often blacklist any cosmetics that they deem to be controversial from returning to the Item Shop. Although the Rue Outfit isn't related to any lawsuits like the Emotes, a comparison to a Nazi will definitely make Epic think twice before re-releasing it.

As of right now, it's been 885 days since the Outfit was last seen in the Item Shop.
